Is the lifetime warranty transferable if I sell my vehicle?
XPEL and LLumar lifetime warranties are tied to the original purchaser, not the vehicle. The warranty does not transfer to a new owner upon private sale. However, if you are selling a vehicle with ceramic film installed by us, the presence of quality film from a certified installer is a documented value add for the buyer — even without the formal warranty transfer. Discuss the specifics with us at time of sale if you have questions about your particular situation.
What warranty comes with standard (non-ceramic) film?
Standard dyed and carbon film grades carry a limited 1–3 year manufacturer warranty rather than a lifetime warranty. Coverage is similar — bubbling, peeling, color change — but the term is shorter.
